Essay and Reflection Questions

All applicants must complete the following question


  1. How has your experience with cancer influenced your plans for the future and shaped who you are today?


Please choose and answer one of the following three questions:

  1. Who or what has inspired you most during your experience, and why?

  2. How have you given back to your community, school, or to other cancer survivors?

  3. If you could share one piece of advice or encouragement with another teen going through cancer, what would it be?


Submission Options:

  • Written essay: Each question answered in a minimum of 250 words and a maximum of 750 words

  • Video essay: Each question answered in a 3-5 minute length video
